It's terrific. I really, really like it, starting with its tone.
For all the heavy stuff in there, the pages have an engaging
breeziness to them. It's an example of the difference between serious
and grim. Serious, yes; grim, no. Filled with terrific advice.

I think it is wonderfully written!

This is a rare gem for the caregiver that weaves practicality, quality
and effectiveness into a versatile tool that addresses mind, body and
spirit. I highly recommend it! This is a great gift for searching
caregivers.

Excellent! The writing is thoughtful, insightful and unpretentious.
What is most valuable is that it gives the caregiver permission to
take care of him/herself.

My mother called me up crying the other day when she received her book
in the mail. It had a huge impact on her. She kept saying they were
not sad tears though…Thank you.

A friend gave me a copy of
A Touch of Hope.
I read it cover to cover sitting outside in the
warm sun. It's wonderful; full of good ideas, insights, and
support. It is not easy to be in the trenches. I have
thought of friends I want to share this book with. Your point
was driven home, this morning when I went on-line to write you, and I
see that Dana Reeve died of lung cancer today. We as caregivers
must take care of ourselves. Thank you for reminding me. I
am facing some new issues with my Mom and things are getting tougher
not easier. Your book came just at the right time
Thank you.

Kudos on your book! I loved reading it. The format made it so easy
to read. Being an ex-hospice nurse and a caregiver to various family
members, I know the information is very valuable!

It is great and so inspiring to see you turn your difficult
experiences into pro-active wisdom.
You kick ass!

All the stats and info about caregivers post-care stress symptoms…It
was definitely something that I had been personally experiencing.
I’ve felt some of these and had been trying to work through them for
some time. It was just so very impactful to see it on paper.
Anyway, I had been having trouble communicating and understanding what
was going on with me for months. Unexplained anger towards my Mom,
mood swings, trouble sleeping, health issues etc… Thank you so much
for that validation. Get used to hearing that you are inspiring,
because you are.

Our daughter, Rebecca, gave me your book to help me cope with the
stress of her dad's lymphoma. Though he's been in remission for nearly
3 years, I find comfort in its pages. When a spouse is ill, the whole
family has the disease! Now I'd like another copy to help a friend
going through a similar situation with her husband. Thank you for
helping heal the care-giver.
